Finished size: Approximately 31" SquareThis quilt was quilted over wool batting. This center block of the quilt is cotton sateen with the main quilting motif quilted by machine embroidery, and the rest was done with free-motion quilting. The quilt was named “Breakthrough” because I was able to feather quilt the border free-hand for the first time, without any markings. I can’t wait till the next quilt where I can incorporate more free-hand feather quilting.
